Eligibility Criteria
NBRCOM-2026
- The NBRCOM-2026 is open to all biomedical researchers (UG, PG, PhD, resident doctors, JRF, SRF, postdocs, clinicians, scientists, and faculties).
- To be eligible for the Young Research Award, age of the presenters/researchers should be less than 35 years as on 22-11-2026.
- However, researchers over the age of 35 years can present their research at NBRCOM-2026 for Young Scientist Award/Best Presentation Award.
- Researchers/Students who are working under the members (faculty/scientists/doctors etc) of the organizing committee are not eligible for any prizes and awards. However, they are allowed to participate and present their research work at NBRCOM 2026.
- Researchers/Students who are working under the jury members are not eligible for prizes and awards in the same category where the jury member is judging. However, if their presentation is in a different category, then they will be eligible for prizes and awards.
- In case of Jury members, if there is any type of ‘conflict of interest’ with respect to judging the presentation, they will inform the organizing committee before proceeding to judge the presentations.
- Young researcher awardees (1st, 2nd & 3rd prize winners) in NBRCOM-2018, -2019, -2021, and (1st to 5th prize winners) in NBRCOM-2023, -2024 & -2025 can present their research work at NBRCOM 2026, but they will not be eligible for prizes and Young Researcher Award in the NBRCOM-26. But they are eligible for Young Scientist Award and Best Presentation Award.
- The event will be held in a hybrid mode, offering both virtual and offline options.
- The virtual mode is available primarily for researchers working outside of India, although a few presentations from researchers at Indian universities or institutes may be considered based on genuine reasons.
- Multiple Abstract Submissions and Presentation Policy:
- Researchers who wish to present more than one research work, either in the same or different categories, must:
- Submit separate abstracts for each research work
- Complete separate registrations using different email addresses
- Registration fees will be applicable for each individual submission/registration.
- The same abstract cannot be submitted or presented in more than one category.
- Each abstract must be unique and submitted under a single appropriate category only.
