The SYBS India Young Researcher Award recognizes and honors outstanding young researchers under the age of 35 for their innovative research, knowledge and presentation skills in the fields of Health Sciences, Life Sciences, and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Awardees are selected based on their excellence in both oral and poster presentations, conducted through virtual or offline modes.
This award aims to encourage and support emerging biomedical researchers who demonstrate exceptional scientific talent and dedication, fostering the growth of the next generation of leaders in biomedical science across India.
The SYBS India Best Presentation Award recognizes outstanding research, knowledge and presentation skills among researchers in both offline and virtual categories across the fields of Life Sciences, Health Sciences, and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
In the offline presentation category, participants who rank 6th to 10th in both Oral and Poster Presentations will be honored with the Best Presentation Award in each of the three disciplines: Life Sciences, Health Sciences, and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
In the virtual presentation category, participants ranking 6th to 10th in the Oral Presentation segment will receive the Best Presentation Award for each discipline.
This award encourages excellence in scientific presentation and effective dissemination of research findings among young biomedical scientists.
The Young Scientist Award (Rank 1st–5th) will recognize outstanding contributions by young researchers below the age of 45 years as on 14th October 2026. This award is designed to honor and encourage scientific excellence, innovation, and dedication among promising scientists. Although no cash prize is attached, the award carries high academic prestige and serves as a mark of distinction in the scientific community. Importantly, past Young Researcher Awardees of NBRCOM (2018–2025) are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the age criteria.
The NBRCOM Pride Award, presented by SYBS India, is a special recognition awarded to organizing committee members who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and contributions toward the successful execution of the Science Conclave-cum-National Biomedical Research Competition (NBRCOM).
This award honors those behind-the-scenes leaders whose commitment, coordination, and teamwork have played a pivotal role in the event's success.
Award Criteria: One committee member will be selected from each organizing institution affiliated with the event. Additionally, one sponsor contributing the highest level of support (financial, material, or strategic) will be honored with the NBRCOM Pride Award for Sponsorship Excellence.
Purpose: The award aims to recognize the invaluable efforts of contributors who uphold the mission of SYBS India by promoting collaborative scientific culture, academic leadership, and national-level research engagement.
